Caution: Pictured Home Is Different In Real Life
Have you ever had a showing where someone says, "It looks different in real life,"? Sometimes it is a good difference, and sometimes it is an unfortunate difference. All the more reason to ask your real estate professional - they may have already been in the home.
On Cape Cod, many buyers and sellers live year round Off-Cape. They will only visit Cape Cod for a vacation or occasionally on weekends. In fact, weekends are the preferred time for Buyers to look at properties.
My wife Holly and I use the properties we have looked at with a client, as benchmarks for future conversations. We are in properties all week long, looking with Buyers' eyes. When we speak over the phone about possible homes, we help our clients save time and travel by comparing the condition, location, view, dock or beach to one of the properties the client has viewed in person.
Sometimes Holly and I are the ones who say, "It looks different than the pictures online." It is like the phrase on some rear-view mirrors on cars, "Objects appear ... ." A good, active, real estate professional can save a lot of time and travel.
Like Mikey's brothers said, "Try it, You'll like it."
